Excited to be included in this exhibition opening this Friday 23rd October. The exhibition includes members of the Newcastle Studio Potters Inc. in collaboration with invited Hunter Valley artists.
Artist were invited to interpret the theme based on Petula Clarke's popular 1966 hit by the same name and a variety of artworks in ceramics, glass, painting, printmaking, wood and mixed media have answered the colourful call.
My works 'Casuarina Vessel' and 'Eucalyptus Blossom Vessel' are included with 'Casuarina' having an early outing as she was intended to be launched in an exhibition next May.
But I will let you know more about that in a later post.
"Colour My World" continues until Sunday 8th November at Back to Back Galleries, 57 Bull St Cooks Hill, Newcastle. Opening hours are Friday Saturday and Sunday 11 am - 5 pm.
